I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I specialise in couples therapy I also work with individuals who are struggling for whatever reason. Working for a charity for 5 yrs taught me about Neurodiversity, anxiety and ADHD in children and young adults. I have had my private practice since 2016.
I held senior roles in Learning and Development for many years in blue chip companies, and so have experience with people from all walks of life. The biggest lesson that I have learned is that we all have the capacity to grow and learn from our experiences, especially our struggles. I am a qualified coach as well as a counsellor and every person I have been privileged to work with, has taught me something.

The Gottman Method uses a scientific approach to help you assess the strengths and development areas in the relationship. Using online questionnaires and individual consultations I will be able to offer an individual guidance plan to help recover or build a sound relationship. Whether you are married, a couple or single, sound relationships enhance our overall feelings of happiness

The purpose of counselling is to provide you with a safe place to work through your current difficulties. As a person centred counsellor, my emphases are on openness, honestly and trust within the therapeutic relationship. The content of sessions will be determined by what you feel is important to you and what will help you achieve your goals of therapy. You are the best person to decide what will work for you and your unique circumstances, I will be there you help you process your emotions and decide a way forward. Whatever you are experiencing, I am not there to judge or diagnose so I do not ask probing questions or give advice. I am there to offer support and empowerment to take control of your own future.
As you say, I appear to have developed my own coping skills, no doubt due in great part to your guidance and care since I first sought your help in late 2018. I consider myself very lucky indeed to have found you when I needed help – you always took such care to understand me and my issues, and I don’t think I could have found anyone more able or caring to support me through a very difficult time in my life. I will always be grateful to you.

Sessions 1 hour
Individual sessions are £60
If you pay for 6 sessions in advance it will reduce to £50 / session (£330)
Gottman Method Limited Offer
The first assessment and report sessions only £100 (normally £120)
Each session there after is £90 for 1 hour
